On a mission trip to the Nation of Ghana, Africa, God arrested me for the orphans. While
setting up for a meeting, a group of beautiful children appeared seemingly out of
nowhere. I couldn't resist loving and holding them, until a pastor friend informed me
that all these children were abandoned. The moment is etched in my memory as if it
happened yesterday. Overwhelmed, I broke down to the point where I couldn't breathe.
Holding them close, I wept for them.
As I found a place to sit and reflect in the open, I engaged in a heartfelt conversation
with God. I said, "Daddy, you didn't bring me all the way here just for me to witness
what I just did and walk away without doing anything. Tell me what to do, and I'll do
anything for you!" Thus, Janie Children’s Home was born. Taking steps of faith, doors
began to open for this ministry. Currently, we have a home in India, a home in Pakistan,
and a home in the process of being purchased – all to the glory of God!
At Janie Children’s Home, our mission is to establish a safe and nurturing haven for
abandoned children. We are committed to addressing their spiritual and physical needs,
aspiring to foster the growth of resilient individuals who, in turn, contribute
positively to their communities.
